Services For Families

  • Individual assistance with home routines, including transitions, mealtime, bedtime, dressing, etc.

  • On-going consulting to promote a smooth running household and family life

  • Playdates - how to structure a successful playdate

  • Direct work with child to enhance and strengthen skills in all developmental domains

  • Direct work with parents and child to model and advise on best ways to play with your child to promote communication and joy (Floortime sessions)

  • Observe child at school and meet with teachers to develop strategies to best support child at school

  • Attend parent/teacher conferences, or conferences with service providers

  • Referral of therapeutic services

  • Assisting in appropriate school placement and selection

  • IEP support

Services For Schools

  • Social Emotional Learning (SEL) lessons/curriculum support (either train teachers in curriculum or conduct weekly SEL lessons to students)

  • Child observation, collaborating with teachers on best strategies to support child at school

  • Referral of services for child

  • Working directly with child at school to model best support strategies for teacher training purposes

  • Facilitate social skills groups to promote prosocial communication, relating and regulation strategies

  • Assist teacher with setting up a classroom and daily schedule to best meet the needs of all students

  • Structuring recess time for more social interaction, productive play time and less conflicts - helping children navigate unstructured time

  • Professional development/in service teacher training workshops. Topics could include:

    -How to meet the needs of all children in the classroom

    -How to recognize if a student needs additional support

    -Understanding individual sensory profiles in the classroom

    -How to teach children to understand and regulate emotions

    -Brainstorm strategies and think outside the box to better assist all students

    -How to help children manage unstructured times during the school day

    -How to implement social skills in the school day
